100% Thai Silk "Cold Dyed" Scarves

The Cold Dyed Scarf is a very beautiful scarf made from a high-quality silk and then dyed using cold water. Normal dyes are boiled with teh scarves placed in the boiling concoctions and seeped. This makes for uniform and bold colors. The cold-dyed process does not boil the dye vats. Instead, the dyes are mixed in cold water and the scarves placed in it. This leads to interesting mixtures of colors and color graduations. Sometimes confused at first glance with tie-dyed silk, this is a process which creates some stuningly beautiful scarves.

We offer both one-color and two-color cold-dyed scarves, and at 15" by 65" and 30" by 65" sizes.
